Abstract

Research explores the impact of utilizing the internet to enhance work efficiency and prevent information hazards in the digital era for the community. Through a qualitative approach, data were collected from participants actively using the internet in various aspects of their lives. The results indicate that the internet plays a crucial role in accelerating information access, facilitating communication, and enabling efficient collaborative work. Furthermore, the findings also highlight the importance of awareness of information security in the digital environment. The use of the internet requires adequate understanding of risks and preventive actions against potential hazards such as data leaks and online fraud. In this context, educating the public on safe internet practices is crucial to protect individuals and communities from cyber threats in the future. The research recommends collaborative efforts between the government, private institutions, and the public to enhance awareness of the benefits and risks of internet utilization. Thus, it is hoped that work efficiency can be improved, and information hazards can be more effectively prevented in this digital era, delivering a positive impact on the overall well-being of society
