Pemberdayaan UMKM Dalam Peningkatan Eksposur Bisnis Secara Online Menggunakan Google Bisnisku

Abstract

The increase in internet access and changes in consumer behavior have compelled companies, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM), to strengthen their digital presence. One tool that can assist MSMEs in enhancing their digital marketing is Google My Business (GMB). This study aims to evaluate the impact of UMKM’s online presence by utilizing the GMB application. This community service activity was conducted through direct mentoring of 15 UMKM in Kampung Baru Village, Medan City, to activate and optimize the use of GMB. The study also measures the impact of using GMB by observing the visibility or number of views obtained by UMKM. The results show that GMB significantly aids online marketing, with the highest number of views reaching 137 and the lowest 5 views within 7 days. Additionally, the ease for customers to find businesses online also contributes to the profitability of UMKM.
